MASEFIELD THE CHAMPION (By- Telegraph.—Press Association.) CARTERTON.IStIv March. The Wairarapa championship rifle.meeting vras held at Papawai to-day under bright, sunny conditions. The entries ■were about 30 per cent. lower than last year.. A light varying breeze and a tricky mirage kept shooters guessing.- As. the day progressed the. wind strengthened slightly, but finally died away.
