[ The engagement .i officially annouueed of King Boris of Bulgaria to Princess Giovanna, third daughter of tha King and Queen of Italy. Hitherto religious differences have stood in the way. King Boris'is a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. The Pope, after lengthy negotiations, has given, his consent. It has been agreed that the children shall bo brought up in the Koman Catholic faith, with the excejc tion of the future Crown Prince.
