OPPERMAN CREATES NEW
RECORD
MELBOURNE, 13th April. Hubert Opperman, the cyclist, paced by a motor, covered 100 miles in lhr 39min 38sec, beating the previous world's record of 2hr 26min Bsec made by Bonhcurs in Paris in 1903.
