The weekly quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meats, based on actual sales of wholesale quantities o£ carcasses of 'mutton or lamb or quarters of-beef "delivered to the Smithfield market, and/or ex London stores, have been compiled as follows by the Quotations Committee,. The Meat .'Producers' Board has also received full details of current prices, and it reports that the lamb market is quiet owing to large supplies,vlanding from* all sources. Consumption;; is; -being encouraged by the lower -values;.? For wethers and ewes the market is weaker, with poor demand. Heavy arrivals are depressing the market. The beef market is quiet owing to heavy arrivals of Argentine chilled beef. Demand for New Zealand porker'pigs is easing off, owing to warm weather, ""and for New Zealand baconer pigs. there is very little inquiry, and nominal prices [are quoted.
