Calibration fell in the Gardner Memorial Steeplechase. He got to his feet, galloped about a furlong, then dropped dead. When Thlstlecrown fell In the Birchwood Hack Steeplechase, D. O'Connor received a broken collarbone. The totalisator handled 55911 10s, as against £G307 for last year.
