CHEAP RAILWAY FARES.
This year Labour Day again falls on a Monday, and many people will doubtless avail themselves of the -Railway Department's cheap train fares to enjoy a pleasant week-end change. Excursion fares from and to all stations will be in operation from 25th to 28th October, and the tickets will be available for return up to 23rd November. Tickets may be purchased and seats and sleeping berths reserved fourteen days ahead- of travel date.
Doherty's Auctioneering, Ltd., will sell household furniture and effects on the premises, 10, Harold street, off Plunket .street, Kelbnrn, at 2 i>.m. on Saturday.
