AMUNDSEN SURPRISED Australian Tress Association—United Service. ' OSLO,'l9th May. Amundsen, interviewed, described Nobile's statement that he failed to find Nicholas the Second Land as astonishing. Amundsen said that he personally visited it in the expedition in the Maud by means, of sledges, and had signal posts erected. He thainks that Nobile must have passed the island in a fog. .
