FIRE IN BOULCOTT STREET

A wooden building consisting of two floors, situated at No. 27, Bbulcott street, was slightly damaged by fire on Saturday afternoon. The ground floor, which is used as an engineering establishment by R. C. Collins, was damaged by fire and water, and the machinery slightly damaged by water. The first floor is occupied by an open upholstering factory, and by John Skivington, a taxi-cab proprietor, who also uses the rear portion of the first floor as a dwelling and garage. Slight damage by smoke and water was also done on this floor. No insurances are available.
