MAN DROWNED IN HARBOUR
Mark Bernie Breeze, aged 32, was drowned at the Queen's Wharf at about 8 o'clock on Saturday night. He was seen to sit on a stringer, but overbalanced and fell into the sea, and the alarm was given to Harbour Board, officials. Tho man could be seen floating face downwards in the water, and when a lifeboat arrived on the scene he had disappeared. The body was recovered underneath the wharf yesterday during dragging operations, and was removed to the morgue, where it was identified to-day. The deceased had been living with his wife at 132, JSydney street, and was employed at an, oil store at Kaiwarra. He was a returned soldr ior 4 Having followed the -> occupation of linotypo operator before enlisting. An inquest will be held to-morrow morning.
