DIOMEDE SAILS
♦ 11.M.5. Diomede sailed from Wellington at Ji.3o p.m. to-day for Auckland to prepare for her voyage- to England. During tho timo the Diomcclo was at Wellington the naval ratings wore granted annual leave. When the Diomede arrives in England tho English ratings will be. transferred to other ships, and the cruiser will return to Now Zealand with practically a new crew. The cruiser's paying-off poniiant was flown beforo she sailed for Auckland.
