DOCTOR CHARGED
INTOXICATION ALLEGED (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. In tho Police Court, Dr. James Henry Crawshaw, district health officer, pleaded not guilty to a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motorcar on Ist May. Tho police evidence was that defendant was trying at 11.40 p.m. to climb Victoria street, a grass and clay road, infrequently used. The car twice ran back, striking a telegraph post, and tho defendant had to bo helped into the police sttaion. Tho case is proceeding.
