YACHTING
Another race for the Holmes trophy, won earlier in.the season by the donor, Mr. C. Holmes, in the Wairere, was sailed on Saturday afternoon by the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor-boat Club, the starters being the other competitors iv the original race. The course was from the clubhouse to Somes Island and back. Following are the handicaps and corrected times:— lolanthc (17min), 4hr SOiniu lsec 1 Viola (scr), 4hr 42min 13sec 2 Linnet (31min), 4hr 44min SSsee 3 Venus (ISmiu), 4hr SOmin 30scc 4
