DEATH AT SEA
On the third day out from San Francisco of the E.M.S. Makuraj which arrived this morning, a middle-aged single woman in the second-class died of tuberculosis. She was buried at sea, the ship being hove-to for the funeral. A clergyman among the passengers, the Rev. P. W. Stephenson, conducted the ceremony. • - • ■
