(Received Bth. June, 11 a.m.)
; TOKIO, 7th June. . A police order forbids the conduct of foreign dancing cafes and tea i-ooins except in licensed halls and' private homes, -where dancing is to be permitted until 10 o'clock only. The Imperial Hotel, where- the majority of the foreigners hold a weekly dance, vainly protested.
The Embassies and Legations are not affected.
The order is due to pressure by reactionaries who object to anything foreign.;
