PRINCESS THEATRE.
All the famous characters as portrayed s*7?°°^ Tarkington—Penrod' Sam, Roddy Bitts, Marjone Jones, Georgie Bassett, Pa ajid Ma Schofieldf-jusi as they were, first created are to be seen to-day at ' the Princess Theatre in "Penrod and Sam," the chief picture on an excellent programme. A splendid cast has been' got together for the occasion, and includes Bex Alexander, Joe Butterworth, Buddy Messinger, Gertrude Messinger. as the children, in tho story, and Rockcliffe Fellows and Gladys Brockwell as Pa and Ma' Schofield respectively. Mary Philbin.is delightful as Sam's elder sister Margaret, and Gareth Hughes takes tho part of her sweetheart. Robert Williams. Gwen Penrod's dog Duke is not forgotten, and is personated by the knowing stage canine Cameo. The supporting films aro excellent, and a highly efficient orchestra provides the latest music.
