BOXING MATCH AT PETONE
The New Zealand featherweight championship, at present held by George Curran, of Wellington, will be in dispute at Petono on Monday evening, when the title-holder .will meet Bert Brown, of Palmerston North in a fifteen-round contest. Both men are reported to' be fit and well, and it is'anticipated that a spectacular battle will result. On a previous occasion that these boxers crossed gloves, Curran secured the honours after a hard tussle. In addition to the ■ championship match on Monday, four amateur preliminaries will bo staged. .Prices and bus time-table are advertised.
