STORM AREA APPROACHING
The promise of fine weather for today has been fulfilled, but in tho officia forecast to-day there are notes that make the prospects of a continuance of present conditions very poor. In the southernmost and northern districts changeable and -showery weather is likely, and elsewhere conditions aro expected to be unsettled and cloudy at times. Easterly winds, backing to northerly, and then increasing, are forecasted for that part of the Dominion south of Jsow Plymouth and Napier, and variable and strong winds, with southerlies prevailing and veering to westerlies, may be experienced iii the North. It is probable that a westerly storm area may make, its appearance in tho early part of next week.
