CHANGEABLE WEATHER PREDICTED
There was a decided improvement in tiie weather conditions this morning except in. the northern and southernmost districts. Yesterday's squally westerly winds have changed to southerlies in most parts, and the atmospheric pressure has increased. Rain fell during the night in various parts of the country,- and freshes were reported this morning in some of the rivers on the West Coast. The indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds, with a westerly tendency, and changeable weather generally. Scattered showers are likely, especially in tho western districts.
