Richmond Main, by Prince Foote— Australian Gas, 3yrs,' 7.13 .'. 1 King of the Sea, by Sea Prince— Mernda, 4yrs, 7.7, 2 Chrome, by Bright Steel—Cisneros, 6yrs, 8.9 .■ 3 Won by three, lengths; Time, 2min 19|Jsec. Fourteen fillies, are left in the New Zealand Oaks. Natatane, who defeated Bonnie Heather on her only previous appearance this season, in a mile race at Napier Park, might have had a better chance in the Riccarton race than in competing against Hotauainthe- Great Northern Guineas. Warlove, the full sister to Warstop, who was also successful on her first appearance at Dunedin, is a popular tip from Riccarton. Royal Exchange and Rose Wreath are the best, taking this season's performances as a guide. Link Up and Tortrix have also won races in the South. Tho Martian j fillies Makepeace and Lovelock may be expected to show improved form. The Canterbury Cup, the long-distance weight-for-age' race, will also be decided to-morrow. Thevwinner of the Derby should take most beating.
