WHEAT PURCHASES
THE CONTROLLER'S ADVICE,

CHRISTCHURCH, 23rd July.
The Wheat Controller advises that up to 23rd July 5,807,357 bushels of wheat were threshed. The purchased of good milling wheat total 4,536,553 bushels, and of seconds' 604,127 bushels. The amount paid to brokers is £1,304,848 12s 7d.
