CAMP NOTES

The following officers have been transferred .—Lt. A. R. C. Smart, A Coy., Cl* to D Coy., 44th; 2nd Lt. A. Thomson, B Coy., Cl, to D Coy., 44th; 2>»l Lt. D. Y. Qemmell, CCoy., Cl, to E Coy., 44th; 2nd Lt.'W. F. Dudson, E Com., Cl, to E Coy., 44th ;* Lt. S. A. G. Darby, Trentham Details, to D Coy., 44th. Lts. E. H. Jackson and C. O. Ziesler have reported for duty at Trentham, and have been posted to the 44th Reinforcements.

Ptes. A. D. Stubbs and L. G. Wilson (47th Reinforcements) are appointed probationary corporals.

The following temporary appointment has been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trentham (Col. H. R. Potter) :—

Army Pay Corps : To be staff-sergeant, Sgt. J. Smith.

The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Com: mandant at Featherston.:—

Canteen Staff : To be corporal, Pte. W. M. Larsen.

46th N.Z.F.A. : To be temporary bombardier, Gnr.' X Simpson. P.E.A.S.C. : To be staff-sergeant in charge of motor vehicles, Sgt. L. Bell; to be corporal, Dvr. T. H. Rawston. A.S.C. Reinforcements: To be wheel-er-corporal, Dvr. J. K. Thomson. N.Z.V.C. : To be corporal, Pte. J. J. Hollingworth. The following probationary corporals have been confirmed in the rank of temporary corporals :—W. 18., Bennett, J. J. Hercock, F. P. Duffy (C. Coy., Cl), W. H. Shearer, W. Wallace, H. R. A. Vialoux (D Coy., 42nd).
