"TRAGEDY" IN AUSTRALIA.
The Hon. W. Earnshaw, in the Legislaive Council yesterday afternoon, stated there could be little doubt that there was tragedy in Australia. The remark ( was made during his address on the 1 Juries Act Amendment Bill (providing for a three fourths majority) witfh a view to leading up to a contention that if an I.W.W. man happened to be on a jury ho would; not be likely to agree to the conviction of another member of the same organisation. . .
