LATEST APPOINTMENTS
ORDNANCE CORPS AND PAY
DEPARTMENT
The following appointments in the newly-created New Zealand Army Ordnance Department and Army Pay Department have been approved, <with effect from Ist April, 1917:— ' N.Z. ARMY ORDNANCE DEPT. The Directing Staff. Lieut, (temp. Capt.) Hon. Major T. M'Cristell to be director of equipment and ordnance stores, graded ordnance officer, Ist class, with the rank of major. Lieut, (temp. Capfc) T. J. King to be asst. -director of equipment' and ordnance I stores, graded ordnance officer, 2nd class,; with the rank of captain. Hon. Capt. A. R. C. White to be graded ordnance officer, 3rd class, with the rank of captain.' ; - . ( Hon. Lieut.. F. E. Ford to be graded ordnance officer, 3rd class, with the rank, of captain. ■ Hon. Capt. W. T. Beck, D.5.0., To begraded "ordnance officer, 4th class, with the rank of lieutenant, and retains the hon. rank of captain (temp.) whilst performing the duties' of ordnance officer, 3rd class. ■ Hon. Capt. O. F. M'Guigan to be graded ordnance officer, 4th class, .with the rank of lieutenant, and retains the hbn. rank of captain (temp.) whilst performing the duties of ordnance officer, 3rd class. . Hon. Lieut, '(temp.), L. F. M'Nair to be graded ordnance officer, 4th class, with the rank of lieutenant. . Hon. Lieut, (temp.) A. W. Baldwin to be graded ordnance officer, 4th class, with the rank of lieutenant. The Inspectorial Staff. ■ Hon. Capt. and Quartermaster B. G. V. Parker to be glided ordnance officer, 3rd class, with the rank of captain, and is appointed inspector of ordnance ma-' chinery. ' .■. Hon. Lieut, and Quartermaster G. J. , Parrel! to be graded . ordnance officer, 3rd class, with the rank of captain, and is the ' inspector engineer, electric, light and defence vessels stores. N.Z. ARMY PAY..DEPARTMEN/T. j Henry M. Griffen to be Director of Financial Services, with the rank of' major. . . j ■ . \ Joseph B. Ryan to be Accountant, with the rank of captain. ' . . ■ ■ Capt. S. M'K. M'Gee, V.D., Retired List, to be a» Command Paymaster, with the rank, of captain. ..Capt. S. V. Trask, Reserve of ■ Officers, ■ i to be a Command Paymaster, with the : rank of captain.' Hon. Capt. D. G,. G. Hunter, to be a Command Paymaster '.with the rank of captain. ' Hon. Lieut, (temp.) D. Smith ceases to be attached to the N.Z.S.C., and is attached temporarily to the N.Z.
