LONELY SOLDIERS
HOW ADDRESSES MAY BE OBTAINED. Replying to "Englishwoman's" letter (published in Monday's Evening Post), that she is willing to undertake to befriend two soldiers at the front who are receiving neither letters nor gifts from New Zealand, if she can ascertain the addresses of two such men, Miss England, of 125. Molesworth-sti'eet, Thorndon, writes :~ " Having seen the paragraph in your paper referring to the request of a coi' 4 respondent ("Englishwoman") to be put in communication with soldiers without relations, who would be grateful for gifts and letters, I write to sa-y that I shall be pleased to give anyone who writes to mo names of troopers who would appreciate such kindness."
