BROOKLYN AFFAIRS
The monthly meeting of the Brooklyn Municipal Electors' Association was. held last evening, Mr. T. Graham presiding. The matter of streets not being sufficiently marked by name was adversely commented upon, and it was decided to ask the council to affix a name plate at each end of streets. _ It was reported that the scheme initiated , for. acquiring a flagstaff for Sugarloaf Reserve was progressing satisfactorily, the subscription list having been freely responded to ; also that work in connection with the duplication of the tram track would be commenced as Boon as the expected material arrived. A letter was received from the Citizens' Tramway League in reference to tramway matters. After discussion it was decided not to take any action.
