LODGE MEETINGS.
The annual and summoned meeting of the Loyal Newtown Lodge 7468, M.U.1.0.0.F., was held in St. Thomas's Schoolroom on Monday evening, Bro. Sir Kenneth Douglas presiding. The following were elected lodge officers for the ensuing term : — N.G., Bro. J. Buckley; V.G., Gro. W. G. French; E.S., Bro. Standen. The following • nominations were received for district officers and members of the management committee :— P.G.M., Bro. C. D. Robertson; D.P.G.M., Bro. A. J. Ibbotson. For trie office of Pro. C.S. there were I three nominations made — P.P.G.M. Bro. G. E. Godber; P.G.M., Bro. J. F. O'Sullivan; and D.P.G.M., Bro. C. D. Robertson. On a ballot being taken, it was decided to submit Bro. Robertson's name as the nominee of the lodge ; examining and relieving officer, Bro. Godber ; book examiner, Bro. C. M. King ; management committee, Bros. C. B. Gaby and E. H. Fisher; auditor, Bro. W. Guise. Court Sir George Grey, 3118, A.0.F., held its half-yearly meeting last evening at the Foresters' Hall, Lambtonquay, C.R. Bro. A. T. Burnette presiding. The election of officers for the ensuing term resulted as follow :—: — C.R., Bro. H. 1 Prince; S.C.R., Bro. W. D. Janes, S.W., Bro. P. Roberts; J.W., Bro. J. Coutts; 6.8., Bro.S. G.Tandy; J. 8., Bro. A. T. Burnette ; secretary, Bro. J. G. Clark (re-elected) ; treasurer, Bro. J. Picot (re-elected) ; M.S., Bro. W. G. Lightfoot. P. C.R. Bro. G. Key »vas elected as delegate to the Wellington .Friendly Societies' Dispensary Board. Bro. H. S. Wqolcott presented the court with a framed photograph of the delegates attending the high court of A.O.F. at Northampton this year, and he was given a hearty vote of thanks. The quarterly summoned meeting of the Loyal Britannia Lodge, 1. 0.0. P., M.U., was held in Manchester Unity Chambers on Monday night. Officers for Che ensuing term >vere elected as follow :— Noble Grand, Bro. C. Anderson ; Vice-Grand, Bro. W. R. Looner ; Elective Secretary, Bro. S. Guy. Nominations for district officers were received as follow:— Urand Master. Bro. C. D. Robinson ; Deputy Grand Master, Bro F. Palmer ; Prov. Cor. Secretary, Bro. G. E. Godber ; examining and relieving officers, Bro. T. Palmer; auditor, Bro. W. Guise; book examiner, Bro. J. F. O'Sullivan ; Management Committes, Bros. J. Kershaw, W. Madeley, and F G-. Osborn. At the usual meeting of Court Sir George Bowen, A.0.F., in St. Peter's Schoolroom, there was a large attendance. The election of officers for the ensuing half-year resulted as follows :—: — C.R., Bro. Hunter; S.C.R., Bro. Bond; treasurer, Bro. Robertson; secretary, Bro. Travels; S.W., Bro. Taylor; J.W., Bro. Chapman; 5.8., Bro. Guise; J. 8., Bro. Roots ; minuto secretary, Bro. Dunnett; Sup. to C.R., Bro. Press. One new member was initiated, and two proposed for membership. Bro. W. A. Worth was elected an auditor to the Court.
