[BT TELECnArH.— PUESS ASSOCIATION.] \ DUNEDIN, 16th January An inquast held at Port Chalmers today- into the circumstances surrounding the death by idrowning of John Taiaroa on Now Years-E ve resulted in a verdict of "Accidentally drowned" being returned. It was evident that in the darkness Taiaroa either tripped over a lino or dipped on the v et deck of the launch when making his way from the stern to the bow.
