■ ■' O [Bt Telegraph.— Special to The Post.] FEATHERSTON,, This Day. Messrs. Dimock and Co.' are having a small building erected at Dalefield, and fitted up with conveniences for weighing live pigs. The sum of £77 is being offered -in cash and trophies for the coming sports of the Carterton United Friendly Societies. The Friendly Societies' Handicap, which was worth £15 last year, has been reduced to £10. The consignment of wool from the Featherston railway station yesterday totalled 178 bales. Major J. Hughes has inspected tho rifle butts at Featherston, and found everything satisfactory.
