Won easily by two lengths. Time, 3min lOseo. Dividends, £1 19s and £1 4s. Telegraph Handicap, of 70 soys; five furlongs.— Jolly Friar, 9.3, 1; Riustique, 7.12, 2; Whataroa, 7.0, 3. Also ran: Gold Seal 8.10, St. Albert 7.7, Sadginoor 7.3. The last named fell. Won by a short head. Time, lmin, lO&ec. Dividends, £1 10s and £1 3a. Clifton Steeplechase, of 120 soys, two miles and a quarter. — Hutana, 12.0, 1 ; Hikairoa, 9.7. 2; Play Fair, 11.0, 3. Also started — Jack o' Lantern 11.3, Tekohau 10.10, Lurcher 9.7, Wi Waka 10.3, Rapanui 9.7, Vagrant 9.7, Patuparaehae 9.7. Wiwaka and the two last-named fell. Won by several lengths. Time, 6min 3sec. Dividends, £4 and £1 10s. Whataroa was sold for £34. Killeymoon Hack Handicap, of SO soys ; six furlongs. — Sir Percival,* 8.9, 1 ; Lady Warwick, 7.6, 2 ; Compass, 8.4, O.
