SKATING RINK CONCERTS.

The popular concert at the Skating Rink next "Wednesday evening will be of exceptional quality. Tho management are introducing several artists, who are entirely new to Wellington concert-goers. Mr. It. Boot, of Christchurch, is said to be a basso of groat power. Mr. M'Lellau liates (tenor), of Auckland, is also on the programme. Tlie feature of tho concert is the re-appearance, after an absence of about iwo years, of Mi\s Jeanne llnmsay, tho popular soprano, who will be heartily welcomed by her many friends and admirers. Amongst the other artists are Mrs. Alfred Lcvi (mezzo-soprano), Mrs. L. V. Closson (solo pianist), Mr. Salvatore C'imino, jun., and Mr. G. 11. llall.

Mr. Hugh Pulton, late of Victoria, lias been appointed mine manager of theT.iiliipn Gold Estates Company's raining property at West Waosauui, ColliogwooO.
