♦ [by telegbaph— peess association.] Invebcabgili,, This Day. At tbe Police Court to-day the charges against R. ~\Y. Hall and Caroline Matthews of alleged improper administration of a noxious drug to the latter, were called, but, with the consent of the police, the hearing was postponed for eight days. Medical evidance was given that Mrs. Matthews is in delicate health, and not in a fit state to appear. It is prohable that further adjournments will have to be asked for.
