SLY-GROG SELLING.
At the heariug of the charges of sly-grog selling in the Ciutha district, before Mr. Hawkins, S.M., at Tapanui, K. Dunner, of Kelso, was fined £bO, but this was afterwards reduced to .£35. Mrß Marehall, of Tapanni, was finod JJIS ; Augnfetns Muny&rd, jGla ; Sarah Officer, £15 ; T. J. Collins, jE3S (second offence) ; and Patrick M' Car in, £50 (second offence). The fines aggregated £165. The liquor seized was in each oaso confiscated.
