ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
A young man named Frank Bennett, of Parnell, who was accidentally jammed against a post by a cart whilo riding in Brightonroad, haa died at the Hospital of lockjaw. A child, fonr fears old, daughter of Edward Fitzpatrick, was playing near the fire when bor clothe 3 caught firo, and Bhe received injuries which caused her death. A young man named lJaniel Gallran, of Rangiriri, has been injured while bushfelling by a tree falling, and it ia believed his apino ia injured. Ho was carried by hit mates 15 miles to tho liangiriri railway station through bush, swamp, and oreeks.
