When stumps wore drawn, tho Bcores were Phoenix, 137 ; Kival, 54. A beginning was made with the Welling-ton-Midland heat. Midland, 78, and nine wickets for 52 ; Wellington, 112. THIRD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP. The Wellington-Petone heat was finished on Saturday, Petone winning by 10 wickets.
