LARGE NATIVE MEETING.
GiSBOKNB, This day.
A large native meeting has been held at Akutaku, north of Tologa Bay. There were about 1200 persons present. Mr Sheehan, Mr Rees, Capt. Porter, and Major Ropata were present. The meeting had reference to land. Some of the natives were anxious that Mr Sheehan should come and settle the titles, but others were dead against it. There was a great Jcorero and a haJm. There was an ample supply of provisions.
