SOME FURTHER BESULTS. Further results of the matches firc-d at' the Group rifle meeting nt Trent hum on. Saturday last wore announced yesterday. L. .Archibald, 74 points; Sergt. .7. Harrison, 63 points; Cadet 1). A. Feast, 60 points; Cadet C. I). Graham, 69 points; Cadet A. C Mitchell, 79 points; total, 345 points. (Possible, 400 points.) DEVENISH SHIELD COMPETITION. •Following ore the results of the recent secondary schools shooting competition for the Deveuish Shield. Tennis _of eight men fired three separate practices nt 200 yds., 300 yds., and 500 yds. _ The first practice was snap-shooting, five shots; ithe second practice, rapid,, six shots; and the final practice, deliberate, five shots:—Wnitaki Hoys' High School, 375 out of 472; New Plymouth High' School, 323 out of 472; Hamilton High School, 313 out of 472; Napier Boys' High School, 803 out of 472; Auckland Grammar School, 290 out of 472; Wellington College, 274 out of 472; Marlborough. College, 239 out. of 472. , Waitaki Hoys' High School holds the shiold until December 1, 1921. Sergeant J. J. Brownleo and Sergeant S. Allen, each with n score of 52 out of a possible of 59, headed the list for New Zealand.
