£3O FINE ON BOOKMAKING CHARGE

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, December 3, When his client, Ernest Browne, aged 44, a barman, was fined £3O on a bookmaking charge, his counsel asked for time to pay. "Browne ought to get his principals to pay," said Mr J. L. Stout.
