A PRESENTATION
FOREMAN BLACKSMITH’S LONG SERVICE
Mr James Riddle, who has retired from the Islington freezing works after serving for 25 years as foreman blacksmith, was entertained by fel-low-employees. The works manager. (Mr T. Downes) presented Mr Riddle with an armchair and various household electric equipment, and spoke of his fine qualities both as a workman and a fellow-, worker, wishing him many years of happiness in his retirement. Other speakers, including Mr Frogley and Mr Powell, also spoke of the esteem in which. Mr Riddle was held. Mr Riddle expressed his thanks for the gifts. . i
