NEW HEADMASTER OF KING’S SCHOOL
* MR J. R. MORRIS ARRIVES FROM ENGLAND .(PRESS ASSOCIATION TKLEOEAH.) AUCKLAND. September 11. ' To assume the headmastership of King's School, Remuera, Mr John Rees Morris, M.A., arrived from England by the Tamaroa, accompanied by Mrs Morris. Mr Morris is 31 years of age, and is a son-in-law of a former headmaster, Mr C. T. Major, who has filled the headmastership temporarily since the beginning of last year. Mr Morris was educated at Wem Grammar School, Shropshire, and at Emmanuel-College, Cambridge. In addition to obtaining his degree at Cambridge, he also was an exhibitionist in history. Since leaving the university, he has been teaching on the staff of Wellingborough College, Northamptonshire. Mr Morris is a keen athlete and won a Cambridge "Blue" in Association- football'. He also plays tennis, cricket, and golf. He will take up his duties at the beginning of the third term on September 21.
