OUTLET FOR LAKE FORSYTH
TO TUB IDITOB Of 7KB PRESS Sir, —This lake is a source of annoyI ance, and has been for years, to all the j residents living in the flooded area. ! The travelling public also suffers, and ! it is time some progressive body did i something towards obtaining a permai nent outlet. The stagnant water cani not be healthy, and the odour that : comes from the lake is vile. The lake , flies are a pest in the summer, and the ! bottom of the lake is filling with mud. | thus making it worse every year. I ! would suggest that the minister con- ! trolling art unions be approached, and ; the necessary funds raised in this ! manner; as it would be a public bene- ; fit. I am sure he would give it his , consideration. Perhaps others can offer suggestions.—Your.-, etc., ADVANCE LITTLE RIVER. Little River, August 4 1934.
