A NOTED ORATOR.
"The visit of the Eev. W. C. Poole, PkD., D.D., president of the World's Sunday School Association, affords New Zealandera an opportunity of hearing one who had made his name as a notable platform speaker. Dr. Poole is pastor of Christ's Church, Westminster, having succeeded the Eev. F. B Meyer. An Australian by birth, having had considerable experience as a Methodist minister in California, and a life-long student of religious education, Dr. Poole has made a name for himself as a brilliant and effective speaker. While in Chrißtchurch he will speak in the Choral Hall, Latimer iquare, on Wednesday evening, June 13th.
