RESULT OF ACCIDENT.
DEATH OF MRS C. E. SKEVINGTON.
The many friends of Mrs Skevin& ton, wife of Mr C. E. Skevington, oi "Holmleigh," Waikuku, will be grieved to bear of her sudden death.
Mrs Skevington died vesterday afternoon as the result of injuries sustained in an accident on Thursday.
About live o'clock on Thursday afternoon Mrs Skevington was driving home, and when going through the cateway leading to the house, the horse took fright and, in swerving, the dog-cart struck a poplar tree, throwing Mrs Skevington to the ground. She fractured her ribs and was seriouslv hurt internally. To-day an inquest will be held.
