The "Manchester Guardian" urges the holding of an early conference between Mr Asquith and Mr Bonar Law, and adds:—"Despite Sir Edward Grey's assurance at Alnwick, thero is not too much time. It would bo unsafe to postpone the conference till Parliament meets, when the violence of party warfare would recommence."
