The following ia en approximate time-table for the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamers:—
The Tbngariro, whioh ii at present at Auckland, will leave there for London on about the 15th, and will soil from London for Wellington again about l&rob. 26th. The Kaikoura, now in the South, will return to Wellington, leering that port for London efcout January 21st. On April 33rd ehe will probably get away from London on her way back to Wellington, being due there about June 6th. The Whekat&ne, which is «t Wellington, is expected to leave Wellington on the return trip to London at the end of tk» monih. "Hie Paparoa is expected to sail from W*.lington for London on February 18th, and
the new steamer Kaipara it duo there fro: London on the 18th inst.
lliq Rakaia ie at preseit on her way to Port Chalmers from London, where she should arrive about January 28th. - The Turakina is calling at Auckland first on her present trip out, and she should maks the northern port about February 17th. The Ruapehu is to leave London for Wellington about January 30th. aud alia fhould Arrive about March 14th. The for Port Chahneru, leave the Home port ft day later, and reach Fort Chahnera on March 20th.
The Kimutaka will be the next steamer, and the «hould get «.way from London about February 37th, and arrive at Wellington on April 11th. Our London correspondent, ■writing on December 4th, Kays that the Xew Zealand Shipping Company's new steamer, the Kaipara, eaii«d for .New Zealand, via the Cape, on the 3rd, in command of Ca-plain H. G, KkiJle, one of the company's well-known commanders. Dr. Carpenter accompanies -the Kaipara na ship's doctor, and Mr Evane is in charge of the «ngine-room. The Kaiuara is making her maiden voyage. She carries very few passengers.
