CYCLING.
A meeting" of the committee of the Christchurcli Cycling and Motor Club was held in the club house on Monday evening Mr J. H. Tompkins in the chair. It was decided that the club join the River League as a whole, and assist in. any way to Iwdp the movement on. It was also decided to hold the. Good Friday meeting, both day and evening,, and the secretary was instructed to interview the representative of Messrs Brock and Co. regarding a display of fireworks for the evening. A protest against the winner of the Novke Race on Boxing Day was upheld, and the race awarded to J. McClmtock. Accounts amounting to £632 were passed for payment, and fourteen new members were electd.
