PUPIL TEACHERS' EXAMINATIONS.
One of the members of the Education Beard, Mr Robertson,, is moving in the direction of having an entrance examination for pupil teachers, as'recently suggested by the inspectors. Ho thinks that all candidates for pupil tea<>her_bipt» should
have njstricufated. Replying to a fellow memberof the Board, who did not agree with aim, Mr. Robertson said: "You may. not agree with mc, but I. can inform you that, there has been a great mteUectual awaken* ing in Wellington , within the "last few - months, and-the Board ought to rise to it."'
