On Thursday at Methven the second sale Was held, when there was an entry of about 4000 sheep, 20 cattle, and 15 horses. Prices were*—Fat crossbred ewes 7s to 9s, fat merino ewes 6s 4d to 10s, freezing sheep 12s 3d to 16a 2d, store ewes in lamb 6s to Bb, store merino ewes in lamb 2s to 5s 3d, forward sheep 9s 4d to 9s Bd, store lambs 6s to 9s 9d. Cattie—Cows in calf £3 to £3 7* 6d to £5 10s, springers £4 17s 6d to £5 Ba, yoong cattle £2 to £2 2s 6d. Howes £15 10s to £20. Potatoes 4s to 4s 3d per sack, sacks extra.
