HERE AND THERE.
On June 9th the Star Ciub defeated Invercargill by the large score of 60 points to nil. The winners, as the score indicates, scored almost at will, and D. Mcßobie was in great Wm at placing goals. On the same day the Britannia Club of Invercargill, beat Gore at Gore by 7 points (a goal from a mark and a try) to nil. The <Wairau and Marlborough Clubs met in a Senior Cup match at Blenheim on June 12th, the game resulting in a draw, each side scoring 3 points. The Senior Cup match between the Nelson Albion and Rival Clubs at Nelson on June 12th, when the former won by 6 points (a penalty goal and a try) to nil.
