Tomatoes are heading the list in Wellington as the most expensive cable item of the present. The price puts thein for the time being in the range of delicacies. A chilling bought only three from a Chinese fruiterer on Saturday and these were over-ripe, part of two of them being past the palatable stage. One of the three was large, the others medium size.
