ABSENT WITHOUT LEAVE.
DETENTION FOR SOLDIERS.
Sentence by court-martial on two gunners of the Artillery Training Regiment has been approved by Brigadier P. H. Bell, DJS.O., officer commanding the Northern Military District jSnd promulgated.
Gunner H. J. Thompson was charged with being absent without leave from Papakura Camp from March 28 to September 10, -and Gunner V. I. Robinson was charged with being absent without leave from Papakura Camp from August 18 to October 5. Thompson was sentenced to 90 days' detention and Robinson to 28 davs.
Major T. A. H. Oliphant, M.C,. was president of the court, and with him were Captain J. D. Boys, X.Z.A., and Lieutenant P. M. Gifford-Moore, ~S.Z.A. Lieutenant-Colonel F. L. C. West, Y r .D., was judge-advocate.
